100 years "Freunde des Friedensheims"
Located in Haan by Düsseldorf, the Friedensheim, run by the Theodor Flieder Foundation, has its place and enjoys widespread recognition throughout the region.
The Friedensheim in Haan is a long-established care home with not only a fascinating and multifaceted history but also a highly motivated support association. This year, the so called “Freunde des Friedensheims” celebrated its 100th anniversary. We were honored to produce a commemorative publication for this occasion!
After much research, time, and effort from the association’s board, it’s finally time to publish the commemorative booklet. The perfect opportunity was the annual summer festival at the Friedensheim. This festival is organized every year by the Freunde des Friedensheims association, and all proceeds directly benefit the residents of the Friedensheim. On September 6th, the booklet was distributed throughout the summer festival. Anyone who wanted one could take a free copy!
The commemorative booklet covers the history of the Freunde des Friedensheims association from 1926 to 2026. It reports on the achievements and funding provided by the Friends, and also honors the individual members who contribute with such dedication.
The association’s board was very grateful that so many local businesses donated to the summer festival and the association in general, which is why their logos were featured on the back cover of the booklet.
